I’ve written about how much I love the strong sneaker presence in the fashion world countless times. I honestly pair them with everything. Lately, I’ve been liking giving sneakers a more fancy outfit pairing that they’ll effortlessly tone down and create a beautiful juxtaposition (see my recent sneakers + trousers look here.) But I think my favorite pairing of sneakers is with a midi skirt (pleats preferred but not required).

For summer specifically, I love a cute wrap dress paired with some sneaks. A (belted) shirtdress is a great fancier-toned-down option. Another great pairing is with a tweed mini skirt – so laid-back lady-like, love it.
