Shop The Pants: WIDE LEG CROPPED PANTS (Everlane – wearing the Ochre color, run TTS and their size guide is incredibly accurate, I wear a 6 in these, and they come in Regular & Short; IMO these are an insanely low price point for the quality that these pants are, I know these are going to last me forever; these are also my comfiest structured, non-denim pants and I especially love where this high-waist hits: right at my belly button)
These wide leg crops have quickly become a favorite in my closet.
I have them in black and this beautiful ochre color featured in this post. My black pair are obviously super versatile, but the ochre ones have also turned out to be quite versatile as well. I mostly wear them with black, white, and black/white pieces simply because they look SO good with those crisp, clean tones. But as far as color goes, anything in the blue/green realm will pair really nicely because they are on the opposite end of the color wheel. These pants also come in MANY other colors; currently available in 5 colors, but every season or so they’ll add more and retire others. I think this spring, I’m going to add the Bone (the white color) to my closet – we’ll see!
Ok, so 3 ways to style these:
1. chill weekend look
Grab your favorite graphic tee, give it a nice, full tuck to show off that waist, add your comfiest sneakers and you are ready to go for a chic, busy weekend day! I think the reason I love these pants so much is how comfy they are. They look really refined, hold a nice shape, yet I don’t feel totally constricted like a lot of structured pants tend to do. I can truly wear them all day (8 am – 7 pm) and not feel the need to unzip them the minute I get home.
KEY STYLING TIP FOR THESE PANTS: For any tops, you’ll definitely want to have some sort of tuck going on – either a front tuck or a full tuck. With the wide leg on these, it’s important to create shape to avoid looking like a blob and the easiest way to do that is having a visible waist.

2. weekday / workwear look
These pants are GREAT for work! Very professional looking. I mean they are definitely more on the casual side of the term “work pants,” but I still think it fits that category. The silhouette is classy and a staple. I styled them here by front-tucking a classic striped turtleneck and a pair of pointed toe flats that lace up the ankle. The cropped cut of these pants are perfect for showing off any higher bootie cuts or shoes that have an ankle detail.
Shop My Outfit: WIDE LEG CROPPED PANTS (Everlane) | STRIPED TURTLENECK (Atlantic Pacific x Halogen – wearing a small here, I’d say size down if you are between sizes, I tend to be a medium in tops and ended up ordering both the S and M and returned the M because the S still gave me that loose-but-not-too-loose fit, and was able to be front-tucked; unfortunately sold out in the black/white but love the burgundy/lavender option) (Similar Here & Here) | BLACK LACE UP FLATS (old from Sam Edelman) (Super Similar Pair Here & Here) | SUNGLASSES (Ray-Ban) | BLACK MINI BAG (Vintage Coach from Poshmark) (Exact Bag Here, Here, Here, & Here) (Similar Bag Here)
3. date night
Probably a surprising choice for a date night but no – these pants are hot as hell! Just show a little skin everywhere else and you’ve got a really beautifully balanced and super sophisticated date night look. Here I tucked in a lace-y, low-cut cami and threw a silky long jacket over it (it’s got slinky-robe vibes so it helps sex it up even more). Completed the look with a simple block heel and cute little box bag.
