Lately I’ve seen this more, but I think layering necklaces has always been a cool, edgy look that works for anyone! I love wearing high-neck pieces to highlight the necklaces even more. Plus it’s fun shopping around finding the perfect combinations! This week’s Friday Five features my favorite sites for finding such pieces so you can easily build your own layering arsenal. Below I’ll include my 3 current faves from each site.
1 – Chloe + Isabel
My latest obsession and partially the inspo for this post. They have some quality pieces at a great price point. I recently ordered the Petits Bijoux Station Choker and the Pave Chevron + Spike Y-Necklace (both below) and am so excited to layer them! Check out their insta for lots of layering inspo!
2 – Etsy
Definitely an obvious choice for this post considering the infinite options they have. A huge chunk of my gold jewelry is from Etsy, since it’s usually cheaper to buy gold plated/filled pieces there. If you’re looking for anything super specific on a lower price point, Etsy is the first place you should search.
3 – Vrai & Oro
This is on the pricier end of my budget, but man are these truly quality pieces – they use only 14k yellow, white, or rose gold. These pieces are the definition of timeless and will last you forever. It’s hard to choose favorites here because I really love them all. And if you’re into rose gold, this a great place to find great simple rose gold options of all kinds of jewelry.
4 – Hanmade by Han
I really like the material she uses for the base of the necklace – it’s a nylon beading thread. Using any type of string can easily come off as cheap, but I think this material has a very quality look and feel. It lays really nicely and feels strong/long-lasting. It’s also great for anyone allergic to certain metals because it won’t irritate your skin at all.
I love layering my Sierra necklace (below) with gold necklaces because the color of the string sort of mimics the gold and they end up looking really good together. It can be tough to layer pieces when they aren’t made out of the exact same materials (there’s so many different golds!), but the material she uses pairs really well. She also uses a black color for some other pieces – which I think looks amazing. There’s something so chic about a really thin black necklace. Also did I mention they all have the cutest feature of a little feather charm on the back? Unfortunately I rarely wear my hair completely up, but if you do you should definitely check these out. It’s all about those small details!
All of these featured below are included in the Summer Sale going on right now through to the end of August.

5 – BaubleBar
If it’s on trend, BaubleBar probably has a really affordable version of it. In addition to various simple pieces, they’ve also got some great choker options and a lot of pre-layered necklaces to choose from.
Have a great weekend, everybody! And happy layering!
