Self-love is just so important. And sometimes we just forget! We work so hard, day after day, that it can be easy to forget to treat ourselves. But studies show (and ya know, it’s kind of just obvious) that treating ourselves is healthy, not frivolous, and that just loving ourselves and becoming increasingly comfortable with who we are is really really good for us. It reduces stress, helps you overcome adversity quicker, and just overall boosts your mood and increases feelings of happiness.
Whether it’s indulging in a hobby, going on a little shopping spree, or ordering that yummy dish at your favorite restaurant, we all have ways we like to spoil ourselves. Today I’m sharing my favorite go-to beauty products for treating myself at home.

1. give yourself a glow
This top-rated mask is truly amazing. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and once you wash it off, your skin will feel so soft and have a beautiful glow. And I love that this product (and brand) is made up of only natural ingredients.

2. add some (temporary) fun to your hair
I’m still waiting for the perfect time to try this… but the reviews are raving and I’m comfortable recommending it. I have been following Kristin Ess for years and was so excited when she made an uber affordable haircare line available at Target (and, not surprisingly, the packaging is A+). 3. calm your face (& mind) with a soothing mask
I always have at least a couple of these on hand because they are just so instantly calming. Hard day at work? I just throw one of these on and (almost all) the stress instantly melts away. And did I mention how affordable these are yet? You can find them at Target and most pharmacies, and they are only $2.50 each! And they make a mud version that’s great too but I love the ease of the paper mask.

4. give your daily routine a little upgrade
This facial toner is not only hydrating, but I swear using it makes you feel like you’re at the spa! It’s crazy! Something about the smell, beautiful packaging, and the fact that it’s infused with real rose petals just feels so luxe. Add this to your daily routine and I promise it’ll easily become your favorite part.

5. refresh your under-eyes
These just feel so freaking good! I recommend refrigerating them for an even more soothing and cooling effect. Plus the cold will also help with reducing any inflammation. These soothe, de-puff, and brighten pretty well. I usually use these only once in a while, but lately it’s been more frequent because I haven’t been getting a ton of sleep and it’s really starting to show…

6. treat yourself to a new scent
It’s always fun to switch up your scent, so go head to the department store or a Sephora and sniff away! You deserve it! Finding the right perfume can feel so satisfying, and that feeling is only extended when you get to apply it every morning. This is my current favorite so I’m sharing it here, it’s very girly and fresh – if you’re totally lost, give this one a try! (+ I also love Chloé’s Fleur de Parfum, it’s very light and a little sweet.)
