Happy fridayyyy and happy March (AKA: my birthday month 🤓- where my Pisces peeps at?!). So this was a big week for me professionally for 2 reasons:
1) As you may know already, my “real” daytime job is a graphic designer for Lord & Taylor – which is now officially Lord + Taylor and completely rebranded (check it out here!) by MY design team. I am so proud of all the work we did and the modern, more customer-focused direction the company is headed.
2) I officially booked the venue and the next Blogger Closet Sale this spring has been announced! If you’re local to NYC, save the date: Saturday, April 13th. Get your ticket here! We still have a few blogger spots left to fill up, but ticket sales and blogger applications are coming in hot lately so I’m not worried at all. I am working so hard to make this the best event it can be, and am overall just so excited about this side passion I’m exploring!
Also, because of all this going on, my blog has gone from 2-3 posts a week down to 1-2 posts a week for the time being… which I know doesn’t really sound like a big deal, but it is to me! However, this may be a more long-term thing because it helps me focus on other things that go on in the background, like strategy, planning, etc. Hope that’s ok with you guys 🙃
…and now on to what I’ve been loving lately in this End of Week Edit:
1. this cleansing balm ($45 for the travel size, $80 for the full size)
This shiz is amazing and I’m so mad at myself for waiting this long to try it – it’s unbelievable how good it is!! It is now officially my second favorite Beautycounter product, first being the Overnight Resurfacing Peel (read why I love that product so much here).
If you guys don’t know already, I’ve recently become a Beautycounter consultant, and really that’s just because I LOVE so many of this amazing clean beauty brand’s products that it just made sense but also it can help monetize my blog a bit better. So, any sale you make on Beautycounter.com using the links I provide here on my blog – I make a small commission off of! Just letting you know. And it should go without saying BUT I would obviously never push any products I don’t love just to make money from the links.
And with that being said, this multi-use balm is INSANE! Make sure to check out the graphic above if you haven’t already. I’ve used it for healing super-dry patches on my face, as a cleanser when my face was unusually dry, as a lip treatment, and to help my rough elbows during this dry, harsh winter season. I love how it feels, and actually love how it smells, too (I’m picky with scents!). AND how fast-working it is, too!
If you need ANY help with dryness, I highly recommend trying this out.
I recommend getting the travel size so you aren’t dropping $80 straight-up LOL. And also – I don’t personally use this as a daily cleanser, so I don’t use it as much as someone with a more dry skin type would. And if you’re still hesitant to try, keep in mind Beautycounter’s amazing return policy. Within 60 days of the ship date, return anything you don’t like after trying, no-questions-asked, with FREE return shipping. So it’s actually harmless to try it!
I will say if you’re pretty prone to acne, like me, definitely use this product in moderation. I think using it as a cleanser once in a while is fine. I’m hesitant to leave this on my entire face for a long period of time – but have LOVED it as more of a spot-treatment / specific-area-focused type of product.
It truly is a miracle product. And guess what?!
I’m giving away a free deluxe sample of this balm (there is LOTS of product in the one sample, it’s basically just a tiny mini travel size quite honestly) to one lucky reader!!

2. Aerie swimsuits
Unfortunately I don’t have a warm vacay coming up super soon, but it doesn’t hurt to shop early for my cruise at the end of May – right?! Either way, I love to daydream about 70°/80° temps while scrolling on Aerie’s website because they have the CUTEST suits at the BEST prices!! Shop a few of my faves below, #1 definitely being the belted high-waisted bottoms – so chic!

3. this ettika necklace set, $55 for both (and they come as two separate necklaces)
Since these came in the mail this week, I’ve been wearing ’em non-stop! Here’s yesterday’s look featuring them.
They are SO cute and don’t really tangle since the chains are more chunky (but not too chunky 👍). Look great with practically anything and can add a bit of a ~downtown edge~ to an otherwise average outfit.
