Lately I’ve been feeling like I’ve been in a bit of a rut to come up with inspired post ideas… a writer’s block I suppose! Besides taking inspo from other sites and social media, my greatest resource for coming up with the best content ideas is YOU GUYS. I’d love if you could take a quick sec to fill out this survey about what you’d like to see from me (what you’ve loved in the past and what you want in the future). It would mean THE WORLD to me. Fill it out right here. (BTW – I periodically pluck an email from this survey to win a **FREE NORDSTROM GIFT CARD**)
#1: Levi’s Wedgie Jeans
If you know me at all, you know I LIVE in my Levi’s Wedgies. For one thing, I have like 5 pairs… I’ll definitely be branching out of Levi’s this year since I’ve been so hyper-focused on them throughout 2018. But my Wedgies will always be a go-to.
I love their fit (the cropped straight cut is my favorite cut) because they are perfectly high-waisted and are almost completely cotton (99%) so they wear SO well! My favorite of all my Wedgies is the straight cut in the color Lasting Impression (what I’m wearing above AND at least once-a-week to work…).

#2: Gingham Trench Coat
I love this 3-season trench SO MUCH. I originally bought this coat in a camel/tan but it ran big and I had to return it, and when I decided to re-order a size below I just took a chance and chose the b/w gingham instead. And WOW am I glad I did that! It’s like a statement coat that matches everything and isn’t too crazy …and is just plain adorable!
I got it in the spring and wore it well into the fall, even on the warmer December days with a warm sweater underneath. Trench coats are seriously versatile. Get one in a fun print or color and you won’t regret it! And P.S. got it at Target if you can believe it (the Who What Wear collection is seriously amazing; unfortunately, this exact coat is sold out now).

#3: High-Waisted Cropped Wide-Leg Trousers
I have these trousers in 2 colors (the bright red above and a very dark green styled here), and they are my most surprising most-worn item. Got them at Zara, which unfortunately makes it harder to snag more of this exact pair – however they are currently selling them in black (shop here) and a dark wine color (shop here).
These are seriously versatile, it’s crazy. I wear them with t-shirts, sweaters, button-downs, flowy blouses, sneakers, loafers, platforms and flats (they’d be great with heels too, I just don’t wear heels!). In fact, I just wore this red pair with a slightly-cropped white sweater and black flats that lace up the ankle for Xmas Eve Dinner and it was FAB. I love how they dress-up and add sophistication to any look.

#4: Everlane Box-Cut Tee
Before I discovered the Everlane box-cut tee (wearing a size small in the pocket version above), I was so lost in the world of t-shirts. I kept buying different ones and just hated them all until I found this baby! Several things to note:
1) Washes EXTREMELY well. I wear these a lot and have seen no signs of wear – the shape is completely kept and the neck is still flat.
2) The price can’t be beat. $16?! If you’re unsure, just try it out. You can easily return it, but you also don’t need to be scared of loving it and buying 2 more because it’s basically the price of an entrée. (Trust me – you’re going to want more and it really doesn’t help that it comes in lots of colors)
3) The cut is slightly roomy/boxy and a little cropped, so I have several in my true size (size small – they run a little big) which are slightly cropped, and then a few in size medium which are a more normal length so then I have options for my outfits.
4) They make this in regular tee AND a version with a pocket. I have both these versions in both sizes in black and white and it’s some of the best money I’ve ever spent! These are true staples.

#5: Marc Fisher Pointed-Toe Booties
These are just the best (pointed-toe) booties in the whole wide world. So comfy, so effortlessly-chic, and seriously high-quality. Above are obviously the black, and I also have them in white (styled here) if that tells ya anything, because they ain’t too cheap! Retailing at $180, I’d still classify them as affordable, but that’s right at the end of spectrum for me.
I wear these 2-3 times during the work week (between my white and black pairs) and on most weekends. They are the perfect combination of comfortable and chic. They literally go with any outfit, but I’m usually in a cropped pair of jeans when I wear them.

*Honorable Mention: Sam Edelman Loafers
So I got these in like late October and figured since I didn’t have them for at least half the year, they didn’t get to count for most-worn. But since October, I’ve been reaching for these SO much! AND, surprise surprise, snagged the same pair in white shortly after acquiring the black. These are by far my comfiest pair of shoes (that aren’t sneakers, but are still comfier than several of my sneakers…).
They run TTS, go with everything (and elevate any look), and come in SO many different color options!
