I talked about this company a little last year but that was before I actually had one. I am now the proud owner of this amazing product, and I’m really excited to collab with this awesome company, Quip.
Simplicity, effectiveness, and convenience are all so very important, especially when it comes to keeping up with our health. Quip easily checks off all these areas, plus adding the fact that it’s just super freaking pretty and we’ve got ourselves a really A-plus product here. Time Magazine agrees since Quip made it on Time’s 25 Best Inventions of 2016 list.
If you’ve followed TFL from the beginning you might remember from my introduction post that my life mantra is “Design is life is design.” I curate my life in every way possible, even down to the look of my toothbrush! Because, as long as you have the resources, why not make your life as pretty as possible? I especially think designing the spaces you spend the most time in deserve a lot of love. Obviously the closet is my number 1, but I like to also focus on my bedroom, bathroom, and desk (at work). I (try to) keep these as organized and aesthetically pleasing as possible. If you’re having a bad day or just have a lot on your plate – at least you look like you have your life in order. Plus it’s much easier to get through something when your space is emanating positive vibes.
But looks aside, this brush can really help simplify your routine. The people over at Quip got it down to a science – discovering the right time to replace your brush head + the right way to brush. And they make it easy to travel since the holder can also serve as a toothbrush cover. Sign up for their subscription service, and every 3 months receive everything you need to refresh (a new brush head and a fresh battery + toothpaste also if you so choose).
I prefer Quip over other electric brushes for 3 reasons. One is that it runs on battery and therefore saves on sink space because a) you don’t need to put a charger somewhere, and b) you don’t even need room for the brush since it comes with a suction-cup holder to stick on your mirror somewhere. The second reason is that it’s not super bulky to hold and is without super complicated vibration patterns and such. It just has one setting (2 minutes with 30 second intervals). Lastly, you no longer need a travel toothbrush/toothbrush holder/anything, yet you still get to travel with an electric one – but without all the fuss!
Pricing is very reasonable – sets start at $25, with refill plans as low as $5 every 3 months. Also I have a code for my readers woohoo! Use my code FRECKLEDLIFE for $5 off your first refill when you sign up for a refill plan.
Happy brushing!
I adore this beautiful reminder!
Do these not look absolutely delectable?! I think I have to give this recipe a spin this weekend….
