2 – Racquetball / Ice Skating
Do something active. It’s fun to get out and do something together that gets your heart racing a bit. Plus a little competition never hurt no relationship; it can even become really flirty and playful if you don’t take it too seriously (which you shouldn’t). I think racquetball is an unexpected date option that can be super super fun. Plus it’s indoors! And ice skating is an obvious V day-given, but I had to include because I don’t think it’ll ever get old.
3 – Museum / Art Gallery
Get cultural and explore a museum or art gallery you’ve never been to. This can spark some really interesting conversation, and you might learn something new about the way your SO sees the world. Or just being silly and prancing around making fun of the pieces is a good time too. Put some Snapchat filters on statues/paintings; or pretend you’re rich curators and make incredibly generic, meaningless, and frilly statements about everything you see. Whatever suits your fancy, I think anyone can be entertained with this date.
4 – Dance Lesson / Cooking Lesson
+ TIP: good places to find coupons for stuff like this are Gilt City, Groupon, & Living Social
5 – Mountain Getaway
If you live in any place with ~4 seasons, you know that February means chilly temps. Flying somewhere is a bit much to celebrate V day, but I think a little road trip to the mountainside for a cozy and relaxing weekend sounds divine.
