My weekly edit is back! Sorry for those who grew a liking towards these (I did get some great feedback about them from you guys)…. life got in the way and I couldn’t find the time/energy towards the end of the week to write these. But it’s back and here to stay! I’m not sure if it will absolutely be every week like it was, but they will definitely be consistently popping up from now on. Happy happy friday, everyone! Excited to be back and a part of your end-of-week 🙂
1. this cashmere plum candle from target
So not sure if you know this about me, but I am verrrry particular about scents. I have a super strong sense of smell (and taste), so there are very few candles, perfumes, etc. that I like. I tend to go for cooler scents so it’s always been tough finding a good falltime candle that I like since they are usually warmer (like cinnamon, chai, vanilla, etc.) Well I was sniffing all the candles at Target the other day (as one should do when they find themselves in Target on a weekend with nothing else to do) and found this amazing light-but-not-too-light fresh scent : cashmere plum! It’s described as an “accord of plum nectar, peony petals, and red wine also brings out elements of pink peppercorn and cedarwood.” Can’t say enough good things, and it’s a great price point too!
2. circle bags
I’ve been loving circle-shaped bags ever since I saw (and purchased) this straw one. Unfortunately it was towards the end of summer so it didn’t get too much wear, but it’ll be the perfect vacay bag plus plenty of summers to come. I love how it’s such a simple geometric shape yet it feels really fresh and new as a handbag form. The fashion world definitely agrees at the moment – I think everyones loving a circular bag after seeing the above Chloé bag as part of their latest ready-to-wear collection. It’s anything but affordable, but there are plenty of round beauties at much more reasonable price points (shop some below!). I especially love a suede style for these!
I just cannot get enough of these sweet lollipops. I get excited every year when they come back in October! So yummy. If you haven’t had one you MUST try, they are very entertainingly delicious. Plus who doesn’t love caramel apple?
